The plane was filled to capacity. I kept telling myself that all the people on this flight had tested negative, so nothing could really happen. At the airport Fuerte everything went very fast, the test was checked and fever was measured. Quickly took the suitcase and off to the rental car station, because it was already quite late. On the Canary Islands I always book Cicar and have so far always made good experiences. I got an Opel Mokka, but it already had 90,000 kilometers down. Actually, the Cicar fleet is always brand new, apparently because of Corona this is also different now. Until the south of the island at Esquinzo I still had 80 km to drive.

Here are the great dune beaches, but often a lot of wind, in Corralejo in the evening some restaurants….or to the south ? : Usually a little warmer, more sheltered from the wind, I like hotels better.

I was already once in the Monte Marina Naturist. At first I wanted to go there again. A nudist hotel is of course quite to my taste, but then the consideration : curfew 22:00. So you sit on the balcony. In the Monte Marina you only look into the garden, while in the Monte Marina Suites you are directly on the sea and look at the sea. So I didn’t choose the nudist hotel, but the sister hotel across the street. Also in this case, all done right. I had a suite on the 3rd floor with a great balcony. In my suite and on the balcony I could also be naked here. Since the guests from the naturist hotel also come to the sister hotel for dinner, the dress code is also not seen quite so closely. Fuerteventura is a classic destination for naturists. But because of Corona and Easter vacations were very many Spaniards with motorhomes on the island. On every beach there were already a few campers, mostly surfers. Only on the more difficult to access beaches one was among themselves.

But I do not mind, I was always naked, no matter on which beach. Even on my numerous excursions my wardrobe was “marked by nudism”. Twice I took the tour to Corralejo. Once it started to rain when I had just walked through the dunes to the beach, the other time it was very crowded. The 75 minute drive was hardly worth it. But you can also explore many other beaches on the island. On the side facing the Atlantic, the sea is much rougher, you can hardly go into the water there.

Tripadvisor recommended a restaurant in Morro Jable. So far I was of the opinion, the wide street with the many stores, entlag the beach of Jandia would be the only way to go in the evening something to eat.

About Google Maps I then found the actual port of Morro Jable. There are some beach restaurants there. I spent many evenings there and always ate delicious.

I am annoyed that I have not discovered the place before. You can not drive to the beach promenade, but must park the car on a large parking lot and walk the remaining 200 meters.

Overall, I have recovered super in the 8 days on Fuerteventura. Once break from the Lockdown and Corona make… Hotel was super, food was great, luck with the weather….all was good.
