My travel-report from my Asia-trip in 2024

I spent a total of 4 weeks on the road. Of which 2 weeks in the first part with “Mein Schiff”, 2 weeks relaxing in Koh Samui.

As I said, this report is not really a naturist travelogue. Especially in the first part of the trip, there was no question of nude bathing or nude sunbathing. Not even “topless” was the order of the day, neither on the ship nor at the various destinations on the trip. Aida still has a nudist deck, but there is no such thing on Mein Schiff.

From Düsseldorf, we flew with Emirates via Dubai to Singapore

The previously booked shuttle cab then took us to the port and finally onto the Mein Schiff 5. The authorities in Singapore are very strict. Entry is correspondingly complicated. You have to register online beforehand. With my passport, fingerprints and photo check, I was finally allowed onto the ship.

The journey then started in the evening. My first destination was Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia

Of course, I also took a city tour here, visited the Petronas Towers and saw the Formula 1 circuit.
My other destinations in Malaysia were the Lankawi peninsula. Here I drove to a beautiful beach and spent a day swimming by the sea.

In the end, I went to Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Samui, where I then spent another 2 weeks.

I saved myself the long journey from the port to Bangkok (2 hours) and preferred to take a cab to Pattaya. Of course Pattaya is the metropolis for sex tourists. But I wanted to see it with my own eyes. All my preconceptions were confirmed. Very long beach, dirty water. Pretty young Thai women everywhere, looking for foreigners with money to spend.

I saw many older men with 20-year-old female companions holding their hands. But I don’t want to pass judgment on them. Then I went to the infamous Walking Street. As it was still light, the shows were still harmless. You could only guess what would be going on there in the evening and at night. In Thailand, morality is viewed a little more loosely than in neighboring countries. The ladies on the streets were all dressed very revealingly.
