Happy Easter from Leucate in France
Traditionally, every year at Easter, I go to the south of France, to the naturist resort “Oasis”, on the Mediterranean.
It usually takes me 11-12 hours to drive by car. This time this trip was even more exhausting than usual, because I drove the first 10 hours only in the rain.
I always like to be in Leucate. It’s always great to have reached motorway exit 40. From there it is only 10 km to the nudist facility. Over Easter, you never know what the weather will be like. I’ve had really great, summery weather where you could lie naked on the beach, but there have been years when I only had rainy days at 13 degrees.
This year it is mixed, I have already lain on the beach, but sometimes it is so windy and cool that you can’t stand it outside and have to turn on the heating.
Für mich ist das “Oasis” immer noch eine der schönsten FKK-Anlagen am Mittelmeer.
Es ist einfach wie ein zweites zu Hause.Auch wenn die Temperturen noch nicht sommerlich sind, so kann man doch windgeschützt in der Sonne liegen. Mn muss hier natürlich mit dem Wind umgehen können. An 10 von 12 Tagen weht hier der Wind. Im Juli und August ist dieser meist angenehm und bringt Erfrischung, in der Vor- und Nachsaison ist der Wind meist kühl und unangenehm.
Die Region um Leucate ist kein Touri-Hotspot. Während der franzsösichen Sommerferien ist es zwar voll, ansonsten aber eher angenehm und überschaubar. Ich komme immer wieder gerne her und kann hier richtig Entspannen. Man muss nicht wie im Cap d´agde immer gestylt sein, im Oasis ist eher der Jogging-Anzug angesagt.
